Decided I should get started on the windows for the doors, after this the cab is complete.

Where do you plan on getting a sliding window from? I planned on using a sliding window on my doors the same height as the CJ hardtop rear window I'm using but I have no idea where to order one in the dimensions I need with the same angle as the windshield up front

Has anyone heard any chatter on hardtop options or manufacturing of such. Is there much interest in hardtops?
I’m tying to work with Roxor to develop an “OVERLANDER” hardtop that will attach to the factory full ROPS and have roll up side and rear windows. I suggested making it like my homemade roof which is lightweight but strong enough for me to walk on (200lbs) and make it with attachment points for lights, shovel, jack, traction boards, etc and compatible with the rooftop tent/awning kits already available.

Are they receptive to the idea?

Yes, but it’s slow going. I think part of the problem is that they doubt that there is much demand for such a top. It might help if some of the owners group members expressed support for development of an OVERLANDER top. Yesterday I met with a local fabricator with whom I will pursue the development if Mahindra does not want to work with me. I know thisKind of top is what a lot of us want.

Finished up the cab with a set of fixed windows, I’m waiting on the seals for my sliders but couldn’t wait anymore.
I’ll make another set of upper door frames when I acquire the rest of my seals.
Wife and I went for an area tour this afternoon, the cab is so tight and quiet, absolutely love it.

How did you handle the gap at the tailgate? I got a CJ top last summer and my plan was stretching it behind the window at the seam.

If I did it again I would split it like that easier to keep it square. I haven't got to the rear hatch yet but don't see it to be that difficult. Figured I would extend the lip on the gate with some weather seal and a little metal shaping.
