I had a small catastrophe yesterday while working on my roll cage modifications for my YJ windshield. When I was tacking the upper hoop after cutting it, I forgot to move my welding blanket from the passenger side to the driver side and the sparks caught the seatbelt on fire! ? Fortunately, nothing was hurt besides the seatbelt. Lesson learned! Just goes to show that it's really easy to get so focused on the task that you forget an important step!
I was wondering if anyone has removed their OEM seatbelts to add a racing type harness or something and might be willing to sell their OEM assembly; either just driver side or both? I think Max A has done this so I sent him a PM but I thought I'd put this out there for the rest of the forum as well.
