Digital Fuel gauge blinking

I've got a 22 with the digital gauge cluster. The fuel gauge has started blinking continously like there is some fault. I can't find any information about what that means. The tank is full...

Anybody experienced this fun?

It sounds like you may have a loose ground on the fuel delivery system, or the Fuel metering unit signal wire is loose.

Under the hood on the driver's side almost up to the radiator.
