Corbeau Seats

Just installed a pair of Corbeau seats!! What a difference and having the ability to recline is nice. The seats help soak up a bunch of the bumps and jarring shock.

I used the factory slides but had to drill a couple of holes into the seat frames

Be aware they do sit a couple of inches higher.

I also just installed a set with the heated option, and lumbar for the driver. Easy install. I also installed a set of Billstein shocks at the same time. Best mod i have made. Almost feels like a Cadillac. BTW the heated seats do get very warm. My wife loves it now. I believe mine were the Baja XRS

I purchased the Baja RS version as they weren't so crazy looking but were suspension seats and they reclined. I also got the heat and lumber support for them. Still need to wire everything up!

How much higher? I have the CJ windshield so currently my view I feel is perfect. My wife wanted these seats but I bought tires instead

Sounds like a mode I might want to do at some point. The next time you have a chance, could you try posting a few photos?

Here are some photos. I just measured from a center point in the seat frames and I did notice my passenger seat sits closer to the door than my driver's seat. So make sure to triple check placement before drilling.

Can u measure the thickness of the stock seat verses the new one. Just don't want sit higher in mine with my CJ windshield. The seats are taller but will you sit higher

You definitely sit higher the Corbeau seat bottoms are about 2 inches thicker...that is a rough measurement.

@DesertRox, I know this thread is a couple years old but I'm tackling this exact same job with Corbeau seats. I bought the bracket adapters from Diesel Freaks but the holes were in the wrong place and not threaded. Thinking of just drilling my own holes where I need them but what did you do about threading them in? Did you just place a nut on the backside against the seat foam? Any pointers you may have their is appreciated.

I used grade 8 nut and bolts, it is a pain but works well.

I was thinking the same thing because I can't weld on here without burning the seats. And I went and bought the suspension seats which means there is more padding behind the brackets where I need I get the nuts behind. Thanks for confirming!

On the Corbeau seats, I could not find a whole pattern that would line up using two of the provided adapter plates. So, I ended up using one adapter plate and drilling two holes. It worked great. However, I am curious. Did I totally miss the point on how to use the two adapter plates? Or, are the adapter plates incorrect for these Corbeau seats? The photo below shows what I ended up with that works for me. I used one bracket at front of seat and drilled two holes at back of seat.

You did it right. Just line the sliders up to the factory seat holes (drill new holes if you have to) and bolt 'em to the Roxor. The Raz'r PRP seats I had lined right up with the holes in the Roxor. That was lucky. It was an easy mod. Not sure how the Corbeuas lined up, but it isn't rocket science. If you can move the sliders and mount them where the factory holes are, you're golden. There's no one right way. Do what works and is solid.
