Just installed a pair of Corbeau seats!! What a difference and having the ability to recline is nice. The seats help soak up a bunch of the bumps and jarring shock.
I used the factory slides but had to drill a couple of holes into the seat framesHave my eye on those as well. Did they bolt to the factory brackets or were those replaced too?
Be aware they do sit a couple of inches higher.Have my eye on those as well. Did they bolt to the factory brackets or were those replaced too?
I purchased the Baja RS version as they weren't so crazy looking but were suspension seats and they reclined. I also got the heat and lumber support for them. Still need to wire everything up!@DesertRox: which Corbeau seats did you get?
How much higher? I have the CJ windshield so currently my view I feel is perfect. My wife wanted these seats but I bought tires insteadBe aware they do sit a couple of inches higher.

You definitely sit higher the Corbeau seat bottoms are about 2 inches thicker...that is a rough measurement. Can u measure the thickness of the stock seat verses the new one. Just don't want sit higher in mine with my CJ windshield. The seats are taller but will you sit higher
Also, I purchased the Corbeau seats and adapter plates from Diesel Freak. I can't figure out how the adapter plates install. If I set them for the dimension to match the slides, the adapter plates land on top of the heavy wire with hog rings. The plate won't slip under the hog wire. Can anyone offer tips on how to use the adapter plates? Thanks@DesertRox, I know this thread is a couple years old but I'm tackling this exact same job with Corbeau seats. I bought the bracket adapters from Diesel Freaks but the holes were in the wrong place and not threaded. Thinking of just drilling my own holes where I need them but what did you do about threading them in? Did you just place a nut on the backside against the seat foam? Any pointers you may have their is appreciated.
