Historic snowfall this winter in Silverton, CO. We were the first few to navigate this avalanche cut that took over a month to complete.

Is this the Apline loop.

I'm not fimular with the area. But headed to lake city to meet some guys next week.

The slide cut was on the Alpine Loop from Silverton to Animos Forks. We’ve been going there for several years and the avalanche and rock slide damage was amazing.
