Hi-
I ordered a roxor half cab kit on Ebay from the GI store. Took about a month to get here and will start building it this week.
The parts came wrapped up in plastic, then foam sheets, then more plastic wrap taped over that. Then put into a box placed inside another box and taped shut with rolls of packing tape. Basically the guys who packed this could pack munitions without problems! It tool an hour to cut everything away.

7 main pieces- three pieces for the roll over protection piece (with its own supports and bolts).
- windshield frame with hinges, window gasket and bolts
- two doors, one of which has a key lock with hinges and bolts etc.. They also included an antitheft device that could be installed as well as a door key set
- a soft top which appears to be pretty solid material- looks to be coated with waterproofing. Includes the windshield and door attachment pieces.

Going to a windshield shop tomorrow for that to be done first.

Very nice! I wish Roxor would sell the base unit with the option for air conditioning. The 2026’s now have the vents in the dash vs the unit hanging under the dash. Then I could purchase a Hard Cabs kit and get a much better cab than the all weather with A/C in the dash. That would be the best of both worlds.

How's the project going? Any updates? New photos? Very curious how it's coming together.

I am also wondering how this project is progressing.

Were all of the body parts NEW?

Update:
After unwrapping the parts from the plastic it was obvious that the painters wrapped them up before the paint had cured and was wet, so it looks like there is plastic wrap on the parts even when removed. There are bumps and waves everywhere in the paint. After contacting the seller, they were hesitant to do anything, but I agreed to see about getting it fixed. I went to several auto paint places to see about repainting this, but they all wanted to sandblast the parts before repainting, and the estimates were more expensive than the parts actually cost.
The seller was uncooperative about taking the parts back and offered a partial refund with statements of "we are trying to help the Roxor Community" and "let god be my conscience".
Not being stupid, or very religious, I contacted eBay, who directed the seller to arrange return shipping.
Believe it or not, the seller did not follow eBay guidelines and wanted me to return some parts now for a partial credit and they would arrange for a later return on other items. So they sent a online USPS label to ship two doors back but stated they would not give me a full refund for just the doors.. I thought this was a scam to get beyond the return window and there is the big problem of shipping two complete car doors through the post office. Thats a no go as it is too big and heavy for USPS. Big alert went off.
I contacted Ebay again and showed them the messages and said I believe this was an attempt to get the more expensive parts back and stick me with a partial refund. Ebay looked at the weights of the item and how they were originally shipped and agreed with me. Ebay took action and gave the seller 5 days to arrange proper shipping or they would cancel the transaction and refund my $.
6 days came and went with the last ditch hail mary of the same USPS label being sent again. Ebay was contacted and refunded my $.
Still have the parts as eBay said it is the sellers problem for violating their terms.
Never heard for the seller again. The return scam failed.
BOB- I am sure they are used parts as the B pillar shows where it was cut off another vehicle.

MikeT, awesome deal! From what I have read about this, all those parts from India like that are from scrap vehicles. There may be one or two that are legit, but I doubt it.

Good on your perseverance with Ebay!

Can you get a close couple pics of the windshield? I have a distinct feeling we can use early CJ5 windshields with established vendors in the Jeep arena.
