Most UTV/Jeep machines seem to have shortcomings between work and play.....Not the Rox it fits my needs just right. Maybe more owners should take another look , a trailer really transforms options. ...
Taken this morning , we were taking advantage of our dry season,...digging out the Kona Dolomite pond on our mountain top.........and now ,waiting for rain to fill it. ( It only goes dry every three years or so ) . The trailer was used all summer mostly to haul brush, trees, etc off the mountside. ...now soon comes all the firewood runs thru the woods !
The frosting on the cake was this afternoon picking berries deep in the Forest.......and found a new trail covered over for years that we think leads to a hidden waterfall on the Carp river.......That story next week or so , as Fall turns the colors !
Country MFG,inc. Fredericktown,Ohio. 800-335-1880. Model 3010. Hand Dump with manually operated hydraulic lift. Factory sold direct only ,expect to pay 1200 to 1500 bucks , delivered. It is rated for 2200 lbs. They make an electric dump rated 4200 lbs but are 2400 $. It’s a great trailer for me. If I was using commercially , everyday , I would go for the bigger unit. Always buy a trailer with two axles or tandem set up. Never ,never waist money on a single axle trailer as they are nearly impossible to back up and are very unstable loaded.
And it will pull just about anything you can hook to it if you have the factory hitch or have beefed up the bolt on bumper jobs. This is a 20’ BP with 5’ slide out ramps and a full size truck tool box on front of trailer loaded with all kinds of chains and straps and other paraphernalia. Idk the tongue weight but it squats my brothers 3/4 ton dodge.
So it will. I have a 28’ flat bed I pull behind my motor coach ......The Rox does a great job of staging this aluminum trailer around the lot , as needed..... in my mind , these Post War look alikes have Superior purpose as a work vehicle. The fun,toy part is nothing more than frosting on the cake.
