I looked everywhere online and I can't find any info.. Are they??

ChatGPT says this - but I would prefer someone to confirm.
  • Pistons: Cast, not forged
  • Connecting rods: Forged
  • Crankshaft: Induction-hardened cast steel

So i can better understand, What is the benefit in knowing this?

Looks like they are made plenty stout for the application. Cast Pistons are very common. Forged Rods are the thing that concerns most on an HD Build, and it looks like the Roxor has Forged Rods.
A serious off road build is about the only application that I can see where HD Parts might be needed. Max is our Hero Off Roader. I have read his build post end to end over the years. I do not recall any engine internal modifications, and his Roxor has the power upped a lot.

My normal driving sees my Roxor up to 2500 RPM's once in a while in the lower gears accelerating. My normal road RPM is around 2,000 RPM's. The Maximum RPM on the 2.7L is 2700 RPM's. I do not Rock Crawl or Race my Roxor. Keep the maintenance up, and take care of it, and It should last for many years.

I'm with you Bob. I run 60mph at 2000rpm. Hardly rev mine over 2400rpm and that is if I need to get going. Seems each gear change is a 400rpm difference. Best torque seems to be in mid range of 1200 to 2000. I have a 19 so my gearing is nice for easy cruising.

For all of its life of around 40K miles, I have routinely and had continuously for hours on end have the engine at 3100 RPMs and the motor seems to be liking it just as much as 2400 RPMs, this is with a hoter than usual tune from Diesel Freak, going off an oil analysis a friend bought me. Though it's a non HD model, the one I have.

With all this being said, your engine is way more tougher than you already think it is, and dam near indestructible especially if you do very minimal modifications to it
