Do you sometimes feel as if a new member asks questions that make little sense? Does it feel is if they just pull random words from the forum and the web to say “Hi, I always wanted a Roxor… I like lifted diesel trucks… monster trucks …deep mud…fishing … apple pie… ”?
They may comment on “Twin Stick” posts with some otherwise meaningless sentence (see below). Outside of the Jeep enthusiast world, “Twin Stick” may mean nothing, many things, or something that would make one blush.
Does their profile show they are in some country where the Roxor is not offered for sale? And then we wonder why a “person” in “some strange land” is so interested in the Roxor. Maybe “someone” from “Iceland” just wants to chat about oil filter gasket material, turbo-diesel performance, or suspension tuning on off-road racing vehicles?

It may not be a human who just dropped in to say “Hi”.

Example from this forum: “Member” Subhanseo from “Denmark” on the “Real Deal Twin Stick” thread a few months back wrote:
“Depending on whether it's for a game controller or the transfer case of an off-road vehicle, the term "The Real-Deal Twin Stick Mod" seems to be a misnomer for a number of distinct projects and upgrades.…”

Here is why these strange posts show up: I asked Google “does AI use forums to train itself in conversation? Here is the answer…

Yes, Artificial Intelligence (AI) models, particularly Large Language Models (LLMs) like ChatGPT, utilize public forums (such as Reddit, Stack Overflow, and others) as a primary source of data to train and improve their writing capabilities.

Here is how AI uses forum data to "practice" writing:
  • Training on Conversational Data: AI models are trained on massive datasets that include internet forums, novels, and articles to learn the statistical probabilities of which words follow others. This helps them learn to write in a way that mimics human conversation, debate, and informational exchange.
