2 Holes below Tail lights????

Not certain what they are for, but I plugged mine using black oxide bolts with nylon grommets.

Funny I noticed them today for the first time. They are on the left and right side. Don’t know the answer.

Could they possibly be for mandatory reflectors in other countries?

So, I looked at it again, and they aren't for the licence plate. I will try and do some research. It has me puzzled now.

Looks like the Thar uses those 2 holes for an additional reflector.

I fabricated an aluminum plate to hold my permanent plate and used the two holes to mount it to the body. Just happed that the two holes are the same distance as montana permanent plates.

The taillight cover baskets are for a Thar and they fit very well. The bottom hole is about 3/8 in, off though. A quick modification and you will need to drill the top hole.
