Got the tuned ECU back and was only able to take my Roxor for a quick drive (Had to leave town for work). But right off the bat acceleration was much better and obviously more power. I was able to pull a small hill without downshifting out of 5th when normally I had to slow down and shift into 4th. Had the power to pull the hill and the power to accelerate up the hill without downshifting. I run 32s and was getting up to 63 mph running at about 2900. It was a short drive though and I pulled the ECU and sent it back to Wade to get updated as the check engine light flashed like others have stated. Should be getting the ECU back tomorrow and I plan to do some more testing in the mountains if I can get the chance weather permitting. But from what I gathered on that short drive the tune is well worth it. I'll report back after more testing.
Running the 2.7 Tune now on the 2024 with stock 5.38 gears 235/85 16 tires. Already got it to 60 easy when it was a real struggle to get it to 50ish before. Much better acceleration. I keep the 5.38 gears for offroad in hills.
I tuned my 2024 2.7 liter. It has stock gears and stock size tires (235 / 70R16). 65 mph is easy. 60 mph at 3,000 rpms. I can’t wipe the smile off my face. The Diesel Freak tune totally changed my ride. I love it.
