Has anyone found a good source for 17" wheels for our Roxors? The 16's seem a little limiting.

Those are notable options, but I was hoping to find just simple bolt-on options. It seems like the biggest obstacle is finding wheels with large enough center bore to fit over the front hubs. It seems the bolt pattern is 5x5.5 with about a 3.75"-4" backspacing, but the center bore needs to be 108mm? or larger. I haven't found easily accessible wheels that fit the bill.

The reason why I went bigger is because the center hole is big enough for hubs. 5x150 is a bigger pattern than 5x5.5(5x139.7). You can’t go the other way. The adapters allow use of these larger modern factory wheels for a fraction of cost of 5x5.5 aftermarket wheels in 17,18,20”.

I see what you're saying. I was just hoping there might be some used factory 17's that would work without adapters. Looks like I'll be doing the same thing you did. Thanks.

All the typical 4x4 and Jeep outlets have wheels that fit. Not sure on 17s but the choices are still there in 15. Only downside to 15s is tire choice and availability. They’re still readily available but they aren’t stocked due to not moving as fast as the larger sizes of the modern vehicles.

The tire selection is what I was really going for. I guess the older CJ wheels, mostly in 15", are what we are likely to find?

I just looked on quadratec and they show several in 17” that’ll fit the CJ’s. Just search for wheels and then select the 5x5.5 and 17” diameter to see the choices. Kinda surprised me to see this but evidently there are larger wheel options that will work.

I'll check that out. I guess the reduced choices in tires in 15 and 16 inch sizes is putting pressure on manufacturers to throw some 17's out there.

107.5 or bigger center bore is what you want. back spacing shouldn't be higher then 4 inches
