Hey guys, I have a '25. I have the older style AC/heat (pull the rod for heat, spin the knob for ac. When did they do this new style?? I see it on a '25, wondering why mine didn't have this new gauge and AC/heat setup. It looks pretty nice! Plus the 12v being in the middle is nice too. Plus vents in the dash, even one near the driver. HUGE upgrade imo. Maybe they come factory without leaking all the freon now too LOL

Hope you can see that better with sunglasses during day. Hard for me to see mine. Maybe they fixed it.

I have no issues seeing mine (mines the older one though, not the one in the post). My '25 has the old style guage and the vents under the dash with the ac controls also under the dash near drivers leg. I also notice this '25 has cupholders near the front of the shifter.

The guage appears to look like my 2023. Ac knob is probathe same just the decal is different. The guage is tough to see. I have thought about opening the hole a bit and angling the guage up about 15-20 degrees. Another project that will never get done. My locking hubs are still on the shelf.

Different gauge all together. Your gauge is the same as mine, the one in the post has a red line of 3k

Looking a bit closer - Badge in the steering wheel is different, ebrake handle is different, different controls for AC/heat, different placement for vets, different placement for 12v, cupholders (and in fact, the whole center console) is different, and the cluster itself is different (max of 3k rpm, indicator lights at the bottom instead of the top).

The guage does look closer to my 23 than the older ones. I wonder why the change after just a couple of years.

The Oil Light is on the Right on my 2024. I watch it on cold starts to make sure it goes out promptly.
It sure would be nice if you could see this cluster set up better than older ones in good light. If the Indians are happy with this set up in daylight, it must be all the smog in India. In bright sun light mine is about worthless. The speed is about the only thing you can see in daylight. The Tach is washed out completely.

For my use a huge improvement would be to go back to the original CJ3 & early CJ5 Twin Stick Configuration. Easier to get to the shift levers, and Low Range would be much more useable. A change in gears to around 4.56 would also be handy. That would allow 55 mph without buzzing the RMP's up as much, but still be good for off road. An old style mechanical speedometer with a gauge package would be a huge improvement also. While we are working on improvements, changing the Roll Bars so that a Jeep windshield and doors could be used would also be nice. I would like the door openings to be sized for Jeep YJ Doors. That would cure a lot of problems closing the Roxor in. Having the Roxor set up to use a Jeep YJ windshield and full hard doors would make a huge improvement. We could close one in easily with Jeep YJ Doors and a Windshield along with much better Windshield Wipers on the YJ Windshield. For my farm use going back to the original style Willy "swing down" tailgate would also be a huge improvement. The swing to the side version is not handy for farm use. I could live with no spare mounted on the tailgate with an old style tailgate.

I do not believe that Mahindra has anyone paying any attention to us Roxor Owners, so I do not see any of these improvements happening. :(

I have 4.10s and stock 29”, 55 is 2200rpm and still plenty loud 😂. But I don’t have the issue with my cluster in the sun, I can see it perfectly fine. I am still a young guy though. I notice with polarizing sunglasses, depending on the angle, it’ll turn the display basically invisible.

Looking to buy
I was thinking of trying to shim the cluster gauge on the bottom right side to make it more off a strait on view.

That’s a good idea. You know what would work really well? If someone has a 3d printer they could just print a pod at an angle as an adapter. I bet they’d sell like hot cakes given how many of you guys have complained about viewing angles.
