For those you you that have used the Roxor for Towing, what are you thoughts on it. I go to Lowes and the landfill often and want to start using it for those runs.

Thanks,

We use our Roxor for many applications on our farm but towing is not one of them. We once tried to move an empty round bale wagon only to have it push the Roxor sideways on a small slope.

Distance and weight? Also speed. All play huge variables in what can be done safely. I pull this tank on a trailer setup but only do it off-road In the pasture. 425 gallons of water. It pulls it just fine. Of course I never get out of first gear empty and usually tow it in 4 low due to weight and water slosh. More controlled that way. We’ve all beaten that dead horse that is the rear crossmember and towing setup. So have that done right before you tow. I wouldn’t hesitate to tow up to 2500 lbs The braking and trailer sway will be what you need to watch for.

I drag everything around, including dead cows. lol. I have the factory pintle/ball combo. It indestructible.

FYI: that dump trailer is light duty and just has garden waste in it.

I've seen and read the horror stories about the rear crossmember getting destroyed from people towing due to its inability to hold any weight. I just installed the Cecco rear Farm/Utility bumper yesterday. I cannot believe how stout that thing is. I will be towing a jumping jack trailer off road with my Roxor, and maybe my utility trailer to the transfer station a couple miles away, but that's it. The Roxor is too light weight to pull anything at speed.
