Any adverse effects from getting a stage 2 tune from Diesel Freaks in addition to their intake? Codes, Speedo issues, ect?

Is there any difference between the DF tune and the one from Gilomen for $200 less?

Yes call wade and talk to him. I know for a fact he has had several previously tuned e cu sent to him to be fixed after issues with even some of the big name tuners.

Wade will also calibrate everything to your gear and tires so that your Speedo reads correct.

I did the 300 gilomen and have zero issues. couldn't see paying 600 for the DF tune. My 2020 was calibrated for the tires and got the turbo boost valve. Others say there are issues with the two but 300 verses 600 for same tune in my opinion. Haven't had any issues

I just received my DF stage 2 tuned ecu back and plan on installing it this weekend.

Previous owner had a tune from [dynamic maybe?] but knew very little about it so I had Wade tune it so I knew what I had.

Had mine tuned before I loaded it from the dealer. Never have driven a stock one. On the straight and level I took it to 80mph just to see. Freeway traffic just keeping up. Backed down to 70 all good, felt solid. Yes I am fully plated, highway legal.

Might add, cj windshield, extended steel cab, self built. Would not try that with stock windsield.

Cj windshield works great but unless you tweek or remove the rops from center to windshield it looks odd. I cut and rewelded mine. Got a 95 wrangler windshield they actually have screw holes to fasten to the rollcage
