so I just replaced my starter, less than 2000 miles, and I was wondering what’s up with that? Seems a little soon to have to be doing that!

From what ive read you can't submerge them as they aren't sealed. I bought my machine used and they had the starter replaced. The old one was left in the machine so I decided to take it apart to try and salvage it. It was seized with rust and a fine sand no doubt from taking a swim.
