The last two days I have had my Military Jeep Trailer hooked up, and I have been cutting and hauling brush out of 1/2 Mile of Fence. I got that project about 95% completed today. I also had a large dead Pine Tree on the gravel road side of the fence that needed removed. The issue was the 20 feet from the tree to the woods across the fence. I cut the Barb Wire, and folded it back making a 10 foot opening. I hauled my Little Giant Ladder to the tree, and installed my 2" Strap as high as I could get it. I then hooked a second strap to the first one lengthening it. This got me to approximately 8 feet from the tree that I mounted my Tree Saver Strap to. I used a D Shackle to hold my Cable Pulley needed to change the direction of the pull. I then positioned my Roxor to make the pull with my ZXR 12000 Badlands Winch. I had the wife operate the Badlands winch while holding the brake on the Roxor, while I cut the tree off with a Stihl 440 Magnum Chain Saw. Everything went perfectly. This was the first time using the ZXR 12,000 Badlands Winch. and the first time that I used the Tree Saver Strap and Pully set up to change the direction of the pull.
NOTE: After locking and unlocking the under seat storage box's multiple times getting straps, and pullets out, I looked up the Amazon Link to the Knobs that replace the Locks on the box's, and ordered the Three Pack.

I got the new Knobs in unbelievably quick. Ordered Monday Evening, the Knobs arrived Wednesday before Noon.
I will get the new Knobs installed this afternoon after it warms up a little more.

Share the link to those knobs?

These Roxors like to work. Mine's been a pavement queen this last year, but she's got work scars for sure.

You did a great job on your project, and it's great that everything worked out well.

Removing the factory Locks was easy. Pop the clip, and unscrew the retaining Nut.

Going back together I straightened the Offset Tongue in a vice. (The kit comes with two Tongue's. The one shown is the one I did not use) I then added a slight bend to the inside to tighten up the door when closed. It took probably 10 minutes to install both Finger Turn Latch's.

They fit perfectly in the hole. After tweaking the Tongue a little the door closed a lot tighter than the factory lock did.

I went by Harbor Freight today, and I picked up a Couple Off Road Recovery Pulleys. One for my Roxor, and the second for my Jeep Wrangler MOAB.
They should be Steel Winch Cable Friendly. I am not 100% bought in to Synthetic Winch Line just yet. I will need to be using my Winch a lot more to justify the Synthetic Line, which will degrade in Sunlight in a very few years, and require replacement. From my limited research an "Exposed to Sunlight" Synthetic Winch Line can degrade 20% the first year. They say using and maintaining the synthetic line it should go Two Through Five Years. I am sure that a synthetic winch line on the front of a Roxor Uncovered will never get close to Five Years. My best guess would be that a Synthetic Line will need replaced in more like every Two to Three Years. If I were using my winch a lot, replacing a $120 Synthetic Winch Line every couple years would probably be justifiable. They are Much Lighter Weight, More Flexible, Work with Aluminum Donut Pulleys, and are Safer to use. The Question needing answered is how much will I use the Winch. Only Time Will Tell.
