The bolts holding on my aftermarket receiver hitch are rusted and need to be replaced. Went up to tractor supply and they had nothing like what this thing takes. Does anyone know the thread pitch of the rear bumper bolts shown in this picture? Need to replace these as they are rusting out my threads inside, the rear crossmember

Thanks.

If it’s those 4 center bolts I believe it’s a British wentworth thread pitch. I re tapped mine to a standard thread pitch.

Good House of Lords!!! British thread pattern?

The bolts in question are the eight bolts in this pic. Week there is only seven in the pic. The rear cross member has eight threaded female bolt holes.

start here. Perhaps that receiver mount isn’t using those holes I’m referencing. I’m betting you have a plate behind that crossmember that is threaded. Just take a bolt in and match it up.

Thanks for the trail. I’ll just leave the rusted bolts in there for now as there is not time for this unnecessary quest at this time.

Drove across town to my local Ace, and they had a more extensive selection of hardware vs. Lowes or Tractor Supply. M8X1.0 worked when fitting the rear bumper bolts into their measuring rack at the store. I bought $17 worth of bolts eager to replace my crusty bolts. Alas - they don't thread in the Roxor.

I'm posting this in case any other person has this issue replacing these bolts. M8X1.0 thread pitch is not the winner. I also attempted M8X1.25 without success in these 8 holes on the bumper mounting area.

Rather than attempt to buy these sight unseen in BSW thread which will lead to frustration as I don't know the thread pitch, methinks either rust removal, repaint and lube of current hardware or eventual retap and thread is the way to go.
