Hello All,

Be on the look out for the Coppers! I was going to fill up the Roxor at the gas station and when I pulled in I was pulled over by the County Sheriff. The sheriff did not even work in our county.

Anyway, the discussion started out as, "I have been wanting to buy one of those since they first came out!" So, after 20 minutes and pictures, I was able to fill the Roxor up and go home. No citations and no tickets!

My Roxor is street legal by the way.

I could comment here about my experiences with traffic cops, but perhaps it's best if you just pick up my upcoming novel, "The Times I Got Pulled Over by a Traffic Cop -- Vol. I"

I too was pulled over in AZ. Was in Quartzite. I stepped out and asked what I could do for him. He said, you don't have a plate on your rig. I said yes I know. Wa is slow to get things out. I showed him my sales slip and insurance. Then as he was looking at it he was astonished that it was a 2019. I explained what it was and he was impressed. He thought it was a really nice rebuilt cj from the 50's.
Just said have a great time, you are good to go.

The running rumor/saying etc is that Arizona would license a MiG jet. Doesn’t surprise me your interaction with the law.

I was going register mine in Georgia. They passed a law recently to allow UTVs to receive a tag. No interstate or State Highways, only county roads. I'm okay with that. I would have to have the Sheriff inspect it and check off the required items on the list. If I had a 2019, it would pass because the cargo capacity must be minimum 250lbs. 2019 max is 249 lbs. WTH! I have a 2023 with a much higher cargo capacity so that isn't an issue. The other box to check is GVW max of 4000lbs. 2023 is over that at 4600lbs. So he will not check that box. Then he told me that none of his idiots would write me a ticket for a UTV.
I recenty moved to a new county. I'm going to have to talk with that sheriff. State police will be a whole other problem.

The last time I had a vehicle pulled over to just be looked at, was a 1969 RAM AIR IV GTO Judge in Judge Orange. I wish that I still had it, along with a 1970 440 Six Pak Cuda, a 67 GTO, and a 70 Javelin.
The local Law Enforcement guys get to look at my Roxor all the time parked in front of the Hardware Store I work at Part Time. I have Texas, Shannon, and Dent County Stickers on it as well as a City of Houston Sticker. Between County Roads and Rural Letter State Roads, I can get about anywhere I would want to go in the Roxor.
