ooooooooooo

New Roxor owner here, I got this 2024 Saturday. I’ve ordered a windshield/top from 3 Star. Fabricating a rear receiver hitch this week.

I’m planning on putting 235/85/16 tires on and side facing seats of some kind, post some pics of your seats!

I ordered an EAG rear TJ bumper and made an adaptor plate to mount it. I picked up 16 threaded holes from the rear frame on to a U angle iron 3/16. Then I welded two 1/4" thick plates to bolt the EAG bumper to. I didn't want to spend a whole day fabricating a bumper, mainly because if I did it, it would look like axx. It took me longer to drill 16 holes in the angle iron than it did for the rest of the project. I think I have posted a pic of it here, somewhere.

That’s a good looking bumper! Mine will be a little simpler, I’ll post a pic when it’s finished!

Read the posts here about the problems using a receiver that doesn't extend out to the outer frame. The smaller mounts have bent frames.

I saw that as well. I actually though about picking up a few holes on the frame itself. Others have done this by dropping the tank to modify their frame.

If I need that kind of pulling power, I have other tools. Just 16 bolts will do for me.

I’m going out past the frame with mine. I’ve got some buddies with a plasma cutter and metal break, so I think it’s going to be pretty heavy duty!

At this point it is like a Blank Canvas. So many directions you can go. Read a lot, and do research.
I went with a Cacco Racing Rear Farm Bumper. It ties into the frame. It comes with Shackle Mounts, and Hitch Receiver. A little expensive, but the best made for the Roxor. I pull a trailer and did not want to skimp on the back bumper.
I had a shop fabricate a 42" Stubby Bumper using a 5" C Channel. I added Bow Shackle Mounts to the front Bumper from Cecco Racing. Heavier duty than most others offered.
I went with Fortress for my Windshield and Roof. I found a good deal on a take off set. Starting over and buying new I would look at more options.
Using a Jeep Windshield is not a bad plan, but requires shop work on the Roll Bars. Mahindra should have made the Ropes Jeep Windshield friendly to start with.
I had 235/85R16 Thunderer M&S 10 Ply Tires installed on mine first thing.
I purchased my OEM Side Steps, Rear Bulkhead, and a couple other things from Diesel Freak.
My 12000 pound Winch, 7/8 Bow Shackles, Tow Hooks, Magnetic Tool Box Cup Holders, and lots of Recovery Gear was purchased from Harbor Freight.
I fabricated my Turn Signals using a Truck Lite Turn Signal Switch.
You need to adjust the Wheel Stops first thing. I believe that they are adjusted way short on purpose to help prevent roll overs, not letting you turn short.
Make a PLAN, and install the right parts to start with. The Tires can be traded in while still new. Tires would be a very good start, followed by OEM Side Steps.

You are not all that far away. I believe that Glasgow is close to Columbia. I have shooters come to the Sportsman's Club from a lot further away than that. If you would like to look my Roxor over, we can make that happen. We could even make it a Range Day and look over the Roxor Day if you would like. I live in the general vicinity of Houston Missouri. I have Texas County, Shannon County, Dent County, and City of Houston Stickers. Where I live I can get around very well on the Roxor.

Thanks for all the info Bob, I plan to get the Trac Grip tires soon, I have them on my Silverado. I didn’t realize I could adjust the turning radius, thanks, I thought it should turn sharper. I’ll definitely want to take you up on the range and Roxor day, I’ll have to look for a backroads route and make it happen. I’ll get some pics when I get my windshield and bumper. I was going to remove the front bumper and make a plan for that last night but a friend brought over a brush hog trailing wheel assembly he broke for me to weld. I’ll probably end up with a front bumper and receiver similar to yours.

It might be a little tough driving all the way here staying off highway. You could trailer it down here and then start driving it.
I did not catch the welder/fabricator part to start with. You have a head start being able to make things for it.

Yeah, I just looked up your location! I helped the same friend take some bulls down to Mountain Grove about a month ago. That would be a long haul in the Roxor! I love the area tho!
