Love the 235/85/16 Mud Claws on the stock suspension. Tire size makes up for not having upgraded suspension. The valley is a lot steeper than the camera angle provides. Few times I’m on 3 tires coming up. But the traction and size over comes it no problem.
That's the tire size I went with. I like tall and skinny, for tires to. lol. I want to get to the bottom, I don't need floatation or width for rock crawling or anything.
I agree with you sir. I just want to reach out and grab it with the meats and move. A wider tire concerned me with taking more power to move. I understand it take power to turn these but I could not imagine the additional weight with more surface area to the tire.
I went with the Cooper SST same size. They are great, but i also went with the Rough Country 2" front leveler lift. Big,Big difference in clearance now.
