Not sure if I want to mount on hood or roll bar. Pics appreciated!

No complaints from me about the hood mount. Easy access and it’s never in the way.

My Roxor isn’t used for recreational wheeling but mostly utility and daily driver; thus, my Hi Lift hasn’t seen much use and I intend to keep it that way. I like it out of the way, as pictured here.

Anyone using hood mounted with the OTR folding windshield? I don't lay it down often but would like to be able to with a jack on the hood.

I drove for awhile with no windshield and thought it was ok, till i had to drive 75 miles on the road at 55. Now i have a cj7 windshield bolted fixed and love it. I do not miss the open view at all.

Hey I did that at 15 degrees with no windshield but couldn't wait to drive mine. It got has a CJ windshield as well.

I wish I had better pics. I took these after I mounted but should have pulled the tire carrier open to see it better as a whole. But you can get a good idea of what it’s like. Just some angle iron, 2” I think and some 1.75” muffler clamps and some hi lift roll bar mounts. Driver side is just teh clamp and angle iron drilled for said clamp. Passenger side it wanted to sag under the weight so I added a piece of flat bar that bolts to the angle iron and the base of the rops. i ordered the mounts to attach to my rops and they would work with the sport rops but the 4 seater rops and a metal top they don’t work at all. So this was the solution I came up with.

I have the Hood Mount from Roxor Parts Direct.
So far it is working great.
I have the Handle Isolater on the Hi Lift on the back of my Wrangler as well as the Hood on the Roxor, No Rattle.

Do the knobs work themselves loose bouncing down a rocky trail?

So far my knobs have not loosened up at all. I have not been anywhere real rough either.

I noticed that several variations of the Jack Mount are available. The one I have from Roxor Parts Direct is a One Piece Hood Mount. Most of the Hood Mounts were Two Piece. When looking the Mounts over I also noticed that the prices were all over the place. Dirt Cheap AMAZON to very expensive Hi-Lift Jack Co. Mount.
The Angled ROPS Roll Bar Mount would be a good choice if you had the Rear Slanted Section of Roll Bar that does not come on the newer Roxor's.

The Rear Horizontal Roll Bar Mount with a Rear Seat in your Roxor would work out just fine. No need to open the tail gate getting things in and out.

The In Bed Wheel Well Mount was different. Looked like it worked out well for the owner. I haul way to much stuff in the bed for that option to work for me.

This was a good post showing multiple options, and all the different options looked to work just fine for the owner.

Max's Roxor looks good in his pictures. He must of been having a really good day to get the Roxor that mud covered. I wish that he was posting on here more.
