How Y'all doing?
My name is Shawn Harper and I'm a 60 year old and retired ( Thank God ). Anywhoo, I have recently purchased my 1st Roxor. It's a 2024 Black HD ( basic ). I have been wanting one since I first saw them in Palestine, Texas in 2018. I'm happy to have found this website, and hope to make friends, swap stories and gain information about this incredible machine I bought. Just driving the Roxor down to the gas station is a "media event"!
EVERYONE is curious about it and want to know more...

Welcome fellow Texan. I’m down south of you in corpus.

Welcome Shawn, how about a pic? I used to live near Longview in the 90s, Missouri now, I have a 24 Roxor as well. Lots of great wisdom on this site.

I concur with the "Lots of wisdom" statement. My Roxor is an insurance company write-off wreck sold in Montana, and I purchased it to build into/underneath an old CJ5 (to be stretched into a CJ6). Living here in the People's Republic of California, it is the only way to make it legal. Welcome to you! (I too am retired.)

Welcome Shawn. I too am recently retired (March 31, 2025), after 30+ years in the DOD, and love my Black 2024 HDUV. I use it on my ranch down in Langtry, Texas (Home of Judge Roy Bean, Only Law West of the Pecos).

Welcome from Southwest Florida.

Just search, and you probably will find the information that you are looking for.

TBH, I got my Roxor ( 2024 Black HD basic model ) on Feb 17, 2026. My family has a habit of naming our vehicles. Since I get the Roxor on Lunar New Year , she has been christened "Luna".
I have it is town at this moment. I own 20 acres that is completely surrounded by a state forest ( no neighbors for at least a mile ). It's like the state of Texas gave me a 2,788 acre playground for my own personal enjoyment. I have been waiting to get her in the woods, in her element you might say, before posting a pic. Trust me, NOBODY wants a pic of my backyard here in town...lol.
I live in Rusk, Texas ( county seat of Cherokee County ). It is between Lufkin and Tyler on Hwy 69.

I think you and I have the exact same make/model. I am in East Texas ( in the pineywoods )

Hey, Watchlizard! Lived just south of Fort Worth several decades back. Enjoy your ride!

Howdy, Downsouth.
Well, I see you ain't down here anymore, but Texas' door is always open.
There's a pretty popular mud park close to me. It's called "River Run" and it's just outside of Jacksonville, Texas. ( we used to have 2 locally, but one closed after a lawsuit ) They just held a weekend event on March 20-22 but family matters prevented me from going ( damn it! )

I was just down near your neck of the woods last weekend, Pencil. A buddy and I went to Ettoile to pick up a 96 ford pickup for his son ( his son has gotten smart after burning through 4 auto transmissions in a year, this new truck is a 5 speed ).
