Factory windshield

Anyone else have a problem with the factory windshield and frame? As the day heats up my windshield bows out. This morning with the sun hitting it, it produced a 1” gap in the middle. When driving at speed it flaps making one hell of a racket.

As a stop gap (sorry for the pun) I placed 3/4” round closed foam in the channel. Will see today if it helps.

Your thoughts?

That hasn't happened to me, but I can see that if the frame heats up enough it would do just that. Sorry man.

It seems that a metal (steel) part is a better bet, or am I wrong?
