The other morning going to town the Engine light came on. Oil and coolant levels were good. It was running fine.
When I started it up to go home after work the Engine Light was out, and did not come back on during the trip.
NOTE: Once in a while after driving it, on restart it takes longer cranking to start up than normal. Just once in a while.
Looking like a trip to Mahindra to have it plugged in to see what code was thrown might be a good plan. A good guess would be smog control garbage acting up.
Any guess on what it could be?

I have the same issue right now! I went out and forgot my gas cap. Well, ended up on an island so had no way to get a cap. Put tape over it. I think I got some water in the tank. Same symptoms you’re describing though, longer crank. I also have loss of top end, I lost like 10 mph because of the power loss. Point is, I think you’re having a fueling issue of some sort, same as I currently have. New cap will be in tomorrow, I’ll swap filter and get air out.

My light is OFF on restart for a while then begins flashing when it’s down on power and I’m trying to get up to speed.

It did the same thing this morning. The Engine Light came on going to town. Stayed out all the way home.
It did act like it lost power for a couple seconds this morning in town.
I have right at 4K on it. I did not change Fuel Filters when I had it serviced a while back.
It could be a Fuel Filter.

Hey bob, if there's any John Deere dealer near you, P/N RE533026 is what I just put in mine. I don't know if you have a 2.7 but that filter works and can be had local.
