Is it an option to just buy chassis? A running unit minus the new Ugly body?

Looking to buy
That would be a great plan. Buy a new CJ Body and adapt it to fit. That would help out the HillBilly Engineering required to get windshields to fit, etc also. Probably have a few thousand more in it than a complete Roxor by the time it was finished. The advantages might be worth it.

The reality of it is if the tub is unchanged all you will need are a new hood, fenders and grill. Should be easy enough to take them off and use Jeep parts. Maybe even find someone who did a flat fender on theirs and has the stock fenders. Then you just need the short CJ hood. The grill has many options out there. That’ll be a whole lot easier than trying to swap an entire body.

Very good point. I doubt they would sell a rolling chassis with motor, trans, and rear end though.
