I need to seed some hill side roads for the fall and winter. The roads are rather rough. I was wondering if anyone could give me some advise on receiver mounted broadcast spreaders.

Look up tailgate and/or receiver 12 volt deer feeders.

I doubt any (affordable) tow behind broadcast spreader would last long on steep, rough roadsides. Those are for tame places like yards and fields. A wildlife feeder for pellets or corn may prove challenging in terms of controlling spread rate with small grass seed. Your easiest and cheapest bet might be to have someone sit in the bed or on the tailgate with a hand crank seeder. This is where a PTO option on Roxor could come in handy.
