A question on egr delete

Getting prepared for an egr delete and im new on here, i was wondering if the any of the grey vacuum hoses are necessary? Or does one cap it off at the alternator and remove the rest?

Cap behind alternator and cap on air intake. But you need to find Jimmyb’s thread. He has a kit with directions that is the bomb!

Im having a difficult time finding plugs for the coolant line , i would have hit jimmyb for the whole kit but i already had the block off plates bought . Are the plugs being used a plastic 5/8 barb with a cap end? If so , where the heck would a guy find them? Ive been to every parts store in town and no luck!

Yes and ace hardware. I prefer brass but plastic will do.

I ordered similar ones online, but haven't tried them yet. I never could find plugs . I would think these should hose clamp over the outlets and work . Let me know if you have success before i get mine!

I will. Probably be a while before I get around to deleting all the EGR hardware though.

The caps you need can be bought individually at any good hardware store. I think I paid 1 for the ones I needed
