Has anyone Roxor/jeep trimmed the lip by your feet flush to get in/out easier. I’m thinking of converting from a ranger but my only hold ups are the entry issues and the turning radius. Old mail delivery jeeps used to be flush by the feet and I feel like that would be pretty slick on a Roxor.

I myself am fine with stepping over, plus it helps to keep some unwanted water out.

I don’t disagree, depends on the usage. I run a lot of fence lines with cattle and open a lot of gates so just trying to get creative. Love everything else about the machine but in/out of the ranger sure is handy.. But $1 mile lifespan or more on the ranger sure does suck. Tradeoffs I suppose.

With the OEM Side Steps available from Diesel Freak, stepping over the lip is not a problem.
You can vastly improve the Turning Radius by adjusting the Wheel Stops. Mahindra must set the wheel stops way short to avoid roll overs. Adjust the wheel stops just short of the tires brushing the Springs. It will then turn just fine.

I would bet that the Lip is Structural Support for the body. The Mail Jeep might have some other structural stiffener that is not obvious. Also a Mail Jeep should not have a rough off road life requiring structural strength.

I bet that would really compromise the integrity of the tub when it's twisting off road.

Thanks bob, that little tip helped my turn radius a lot. Turns as well as a car now.

Wheel stops are set where they are to prevent brake caliper banjo bolt from contacting the shock at full flex and wheel lock. It can damage the shock and/or brake the line end causing loss of brakes.

Mine are still factory set and with 2.5” offset wheels I can still make contact with the shocks on mine. Of course I have more flex and than stock now. Just something to keep in mind.

I recently bought Cecco seat lowering plates. You get to choose how much to cut off and lower them. I cut 2” off and that’s the max I believe you can go. My Corbeau seats with adapter brackets from diesel freaks I believe sits slightly higher than stock seats. After doing the long travel lift and 35s it was a pain to get in. After lowering the seats it’s much easier to get in. Cecco doesn’t have these on his website anymore, you’ll have to call him or message him to see of he’ll make a pair for you.
