Decided to take a little drive around the yard this evening before dinner. Didn't turn out too well. We have driven this before. But last week we got about another foot of snow, and the past 2 days it's been above freezing. So it made the snow a little slicker. Anyways. I have no forward movement. All I do is slide back and forth. I can go backwards all day, right into my fence.

I don't want to take my pickup back there to pull it out, snow is about 2-3' deep to get to it. It's gonna sleep there tonight unfortunately. But at least it's on my property.

I'll tell you what though, it feels great being back in Alaska. I miss my high desert and Juniper tree's, but I love how easy it is to get around up here. Even in Anchorage, it's easier than driving through Prescott or Flagstaff.

30 years ago AZ was great now I'm glad I'm gone. California transplants destroyed it.. It's unfortunate what happened to my home state. I'd be in AK but wife won't do it.

I borrowed a friends Polaris General on 4" Portals. I drove it around. I forgot how loud actual SXS's are. So glad I have my Roxor. Even with his General locked front and rear, my Roxor gets around better. He has 33" swampers on it. Once my Roxor is locked and tuned, I'm confident it'll walk all over his General.

That's awesome, friends ask me why I didn't get the traditional SXS, I tell them it's not about speed you miss alot. I'm old school and love picking my way up a road. Picking right line. Not flying up. I agree my father has a Ranger and man sitting on motor and the heat that builds up. Roxor brings the fan of wheeling back. My 85 CJ7 didn't have lockers but my Rox will have them eventually. Just have to know your limits until then. Also want a Winch, never had a need for one but could come in handy like your great example of being stuck
