Greetings!

Heading down to Booneville, MS on the 18th to pickup this beaut (2024 MAHINDRA ROXOR HD ALL-WEATHER For Sale in Booneville, Mississippi)

Found Murphy Bros. on my endless search of Roxor YouTube content and really liked that they offered dressed up units for fair prices. Once I talked to Chris I was sold (just had decide between the two open station and cab version they have). I guess the OD Green was a limited run and no longer availabeJust have to add a turn signal kit and will be able to tag it here in TN. I’m interested to dive into all the forums to see everyone’s buildouts - not too much on YT for the Cab version yet. This is going to be primarily for flat ground transportation, mild off-roading, and debris cleanup. Definitely interested in functional accessories/upgrades, but not looking to dive into anything performance wise that is going to jeopardize warranty. Happy to be here!

That is a nice looking Roxor.
The Front End is set up pretty well. Stubby Bumper, Winch, Cecco Shackle Mounts, Bow Shackles,
Tires and a Spring Lift.
No View of the Back End to see if it has a Cecco Farm Bumper. Which I consider a must have addition.

I would add the OEM Side Steps from Diesel Freak.
I wired my own Turn Signals using a Truck Lite Switch. I put 2" lights in the grill, and .75" Lights in the Fender Lip on the side.
I am sure that you will like the heater.

Keep posting. We could use some additional active owners.

I see you have a long history of posts - do you have a specific link to a summary on the turn signal package you ended up with? I am interested to know how you like it because it seems like you wanted an alternative to the $400 XTC which is the one I was leaning towards.

As for the back end, it has a bolt on pintle. I do like the look of the Cecco - should I consider the required drilling non-consequential? Any other must have upgrades or accessories I should add to my list?

Thanks!

John

Cecco Farm Bumper:
Drilling the frame is not a big deal at all. The Bumper Hardware comes with a piece to use as a guide drilling the Holes. On the Right side I had to unbolt the Tail Pipe Hanger to drop the tail pipe down out of the way to drill the holes. You do need a couple Metric Taps to clean out the factory Nuts on the rear cross member. I believe the Instructions tell you the correct Tap Sizes. I work at the local Mom & Pop Hardware Store. We had both Taps in stock.
Bolting the Cecco Farm Bumper to the Frame is what sets it apart from other bumpers.

I will try and do a write-up on the Turn Signals when I get a minute.

Made it home just before 6pm Central, but it was a great day! Matt at Murphy Brothers in Booneville was great and I’m thrilled to learn everything I can about this green machine.

First Impressions:

Need to learn the feel/sound for shift points. I feel like the tach on the gauge might be pointless? This being a tuned like a small tank, I’m assuming the gears are shorter, so running them every 10mph probably is not a benchmark.

Tall. I am 6’0 but underestimated the tub lip for sure. Good thing it was dark when I took it for the inaugural spin around the front yard because I’m sure I look goofy climbing in! Glad I have the OEM steps coming in.

Rock solid. I am very happy seeing the quality of material used for the amount of money it cost. I plan to plate it here in TN and will have no worries about reliability when driving it alongside other vehicles. However, as a former motorcycle rider, I will treat it with the same level of awareness. Can’t control the stupidity of others so gotta keep the head on a swivel.

Unfortunately I am heading out of town for the rest of the week for work, but I’m gonna dive in next week - have some boxes waiting for me:

Cecco Farm Bumper
OEM Steps
Flash Fab Bedside Tide Downs
3 sets of rock lights (thinking 1 set in the footwells for interior light)
1 set of 6” LED bar lights (flush mount under back bumper)
XTC Turn Signal Kit (waiting for it to ship) - last item before I can plate

Congrats on the unit! Getting plates in TN is not an issue if you have the stuff?

Nope! Low speed registration and all you need is a windshield, turn signals, and mirrors (of course in addition to the standard safety equipment like seatbelts and be a licensed driver). Just can’t take it on the highway.

Are there instructions for the bumper online? There was nothing in the box and I checked the Cecco & DF website. Im out of town at the moment but do you happen to have the hardware details handy on what you used for the frame tie-in? I already purchased the exact BOM you listed for the OEM steps (thank you by the way, it was very helpful!)

The Template is a thinner metal plate that is pretty much exactly the size as the Frame Mounting Plates.
Bolt the Template to the Bumper and then drill through the mounting holes. Install the mounting plate, and move to the other side and repeat.

Seems like I got the instructions from somewhere. I might have down loaded them from the Cecco web site. The main thing was the Tap Sizes to clean up the existing cross member threads. That is pretty much a must do to make sure that you do not cross thread a bolt. I did end up using an angle grinder to remove a little material on the Plates so they would go in the Frame.

Got the turn signal kit on, along with the OEM steps, and bedside tie down bars. Also took off some stickers and on the inside swapped out the cig lighter for a usb/volt plug. Learning a lot about the machine and have sore finger tips!

Tagged and street legal now, just in time for winter. Next up will be some additional lighting and farm bumper.

You are off to a very good start. Looks like your Winch has Synthetic Line.
The Front Stubby Bumper I would guess is a Plain Cecco 36" with Cecco Bow Shackle Mounts.

I used my 2" Recovery Straps today pulling over Cedar Trees. I hooked the Recovery Strap to the Rear Bow Shackle.

I would add to your equipment a couple 2" x 20' Recovery Straps with Loop Ends, and also some Soft Shackles. I do not plan on much recovery, however I am pulling trees a lot.
By next week I will have 3 of the Loop End 20' foot recovery straps as well as a 2" x 6' strap to use connecting to Trees I am pulling over.
