Soft bow top on Roxor

I always liked the military look of the old Willys bow tops. The real steel bow tops from the Willys are too small and might need welding to fit which is beyond my skills. I see many Bimini canopy tops due to all the boats here in Florida. I googled to see if anyone has ever modified a Bimini top on a Jeep and found a few, so I went for it.

That looks pretty clean. How much did your local shop charge? Let us know how it holds up on the freeway. The Roxor is faster than most boats, and it looks like there's not much tension on your canopy.

Yes, not as much tension as I would like, but the flopping and shaking sounds are exciting. No local shop, I did it all myself, that is why its not a custom fit and all the slack. I might eventually go to shop to get the results from the Willys below, but I happy it does not looks like the other guy.

I did something simular but I wanted to keep the roll cage so I wouldn't get killed in a roll over.

yes the bow top and rollbar together is doable but I wasnt able to get it done this weekend, just wanted to try it out for a while.
