Rugged rear facing back seat install

Hello - wanted to see if anyone has installed the folding back seat as a rear facing install? I got mine from Diesel Freaks - the Rugged Ridge product. I am doing a rear facing install to avoid replacing ROPS. I have also purchased the seat belts to install.

My question is are people mounting these directly to the floor of their Rox or are you reinforcing it somehow? I see something that looks like a spine going across (side to side) in three places. Each one has holes pre-drilled, but none align with where I would install the brackets for a rear facing seat. If installing directly to the floor (without using the "spines") - are you adding any additional hardware? my kit only came with bolts and lock washers.

This is a smitty built for cj5. Bolted directly to floor with some washers on back side.

Is that a heater vent I see draped over the seat?

It is, have a big jegs heater under the dash. Kids get to share the hose.

Great heater, I have the same one

Reinforced the floor bolting the seat to square piece of steel to help redistribute the weight.
