Need to relocate for work reasons ( about 400 miles) , wondering If I should ship or just drive the Roxor. Will it make the trip without any problems.
Thinking of using " Avoid Highways and Keep it in the 55-60 Zone. Shipping gets expensive , Mostly garage kept and has only 2500 miles and stage 1 tuned. No known issues.

Any suggestions or precautions , you guys can think of? .

Will it run all day or give it breaks every couple of hours ? or doesn't matter.

how are you moving the rest of your belongings? why not just stick it in a u haul along with your other stuff? Or on a trailer.

but check all fluids first and roll it. It should be fine If you have to drive it

I would just rent a U-haul auto trailer one way and pull it with my pickup. Don't get the one that just carries one axle, but get the trailer you can put the whole Roxor on. I have used before and they worked great and the price was not bad.

That sounds great, making my confidence go high.I wish I have stage 2 to pull a trailer ( But only have stage 1 right now),

I've got 20k miles on mine. It's my DD. With my stage1 tune, she'll do 75 MPH (3.73 axles and 32" tires) all day. I would not blink to drive this thing across the country, let alone the state. I've driven it 300+ miles in one sitting, and 200+ a dozen or so times.

Strong grades (yes we do get a handful in WI.. only a handful lol) are noticeable but I haven't held up traffic ever.

so reached the destination with no issues , roxor proved its dependability .thought write a few words so will be useful for someone in future.

I checked all fluids per all our recommendations ( engine oil , power steering, brake fluid , coolant , [Transmission oil did not check but it was changed only 1000 miles ago so did not bother] ( Packed a 12V Air compressor / Flat Tire kit and Solar Cell Charger, and Water and basic food )

About 420 Miles , non stop other than to get fuel and lunch and restroom breaks and take scenic pics . Took about 11 hours , mostly stayed in the state highways ( 60 mph or less ) . Tried interstate for short bit , but was too noisy from other guys buzzing around me and with stock tires could not do more than 65. GPS showed I hit 67 MPH tops at some point. Besides I enjoyed the ride on the state highways very peaceful.
Used about 16 gallons of fuel.

Seats were okay for about 250 miles, after that I was getting bit wearing me out. Had a seat back cushion as spare laying in the trunk and I put that on my seat and that helped for the rest of trip. Seat upgrade will help if someone does long trips often

Outside temperature will also play a role as I don't have heater or AC. ( Had temperatures from 64F - 90F) through
out the day, from morning start to finish.

64 was bit chilly, but not bad, wished I packed a jacket. 90F was getting bit hot but was towards the finish line, just dealt with it.

In between was perfect and enjoyed the mountain drive. Also steeps in mountains spent time in 4th gear a lot. Wish Roxor had 140-150 HP stock .

Also had a mild rain, more of drizzle, but did not have much trouble

Still don't understand how TDI @ 2.0 makes 140 vs Roxor with 2.5 makes only 90 with tune. Anyway that is separate discussion.

Also I am only stage 1 so higher stages will help.

Thanks again folks for the idea and suggestions...
