I made an order with Roxor Parts Direct about a week ago. I had some mounting hardware missing, and called RPD Nick on the phone to discuss this with him. We had a nice talk about Roxor Parts. They are new, and I believe still having some growing pains. It may take a while, but I believe they will come through on some new and much needed parts for the Roxor.
The Hood Mounted Hi-Lift Jack Mount looks good. The Bolts to secure the Jack are inboard more than most Hood Hi-Lift Jack Mounts. I believe this will be a good thing.
The TICONN Brand 3/4" Heavy Duty D-Ring Shackle's looks to be high quality, and the price is reasonable for what you get. It comes with Detachable Isolator's as well as Plastic Spacers. When using the Flash Fab Shackle Bracket the Shackle Pin will need more Spacers than what come in the package. OR as I have done on my Wrangler cut some Heater Hose to take the slack out, for a better no rattle fit.
Next up is the Flash Fab 4-Bolt D-Shackle Bracket. The Base looks to be 1/4" Steel. The Bolt Holes are what you would expect, No burs, etc. The 1/2" thick Clevis Tab has a 1" Hole for the D-Shackle to Pin to. It is finished in Black. Not sure if Powder Coat or Flat Paint. The finish looks fine, no complaints. I mentioned to Nick that my preference would be a smaller hole in the Clevis Tab that matched up to his 3/4" D-Ring Shackle a little tighter. He is going to look into this.
He also offers OEM Roxor Flanged Bumper Bolts (4 Pack) at a reasonable price. This is very handy as the currently offered factory "Light Duty" Bumper only uses two bolts per side. With the Four Bolt Shackle Bracket, Four Bolts are required per side.
We talked about needed products. I brought up:
Bumpers
Twin Stick Kit for the Transfer Case
Stand Alone Doors
Old School Speedometer and Gages
Fender Flares
With a little luck possibly some additional new parts to upgrade the Roxor will happen. Only time will tell.
