A friend of mine bought this in 2019 when he learned they might go away due to the cease and desist order. It’s been sitting in his barn relatively unused as his Kawasaki Mule does most of the work. Since the Mule is his primary, he was convinced to part with the Roxor.

It has just 329 miles on it and 59 hours. The only mod I’ve made is the Belikin license plate. Desired mods are:

Windshield
Heater
Swivel turrets for the top for varmint shots
Red light bars for driving with night vision
IR lights for night vision
More aggressive tread tires
Learn what a locker can do for me
See how the ride is with stock shocks
Dream of a mod 1 tune from Diesel Freak
Find the Flowmaster 70 or equivalent that gets exhaust as quiet as possible.

Thanks to those that posted how to get out of four wheel low. Need to find a hill to roll backwards on as the transfer case is completely locked up.

Goal will be primary use Kansas deer lease cruiser and star of the Fourth of July parade at home in Texas.

For the Heater to work you will need to close it in.
So far Stand Alone Doors are pretty much non existent.
Windshields, Roofs, and Rear Bulkheads are no problem to purchase. Getting Doors to finish closing it in are a problem.
I put 235/85R16 10 Ply Mud and Snow Tires on mine first thing.
Beefing up the springs a little is not a bad idea on the older ones.

If you decide you want a Locker. I have a Torque Locker that was in my rear end for a week. I drive on pavement way to much to put up with a Locker. I will make you a deal.

Welcome aboard :)

Thanks Bob. I figured the doors would be like Legos from to different companies. Live got a metal roof by Fortress. At first glance the windshield by them is more than I want to spend but other mfg’s might not work with this roof. Bulkhead and doors are likely the same issue?

On the locker, I’m still trying to determine why a machine built for off road needs a locker. I’ve read some on here but too new to the game to understand. Any thoughts would be provoking!

From the YouTubing I've done on Rotor Locker searches, they seem to be relevant to people wanting to rock crawl and go big time mudding. I do not have the desire for this as I got enough cars stuck in the mud in high school to last a lifetime. I really just need a solid 4X4 to get me around a lease property when it snows or rains. Might a locker be overkill for my wallet to need ratio?

My experience with my locker. I drive on asphalt quite a bit. I really drive everywhere. I drive on Gravel Roads, Dirt Trails, in the Pasture, as well as quite a bit of Black Top driving in Town.

If you can coast around a corner the locker will go clickity click. Not bad.
When you have to turn under power the locker will be locked up. This results in the locker jumping a Cog which causes a loud BANG that sounds like you broke something. This happens at Intersections where you turn, Parking Stalls, basically anywhere you have to move under power and turn at the same time. For my driving I am much happier without the locker. Thinking back, I had both an FJ40 and an FJ55 Land Cruiser, and both had open rear ends, and I was perfectly happy with both, and was only stuck once. I did however pull a buddy's Bronco out of deep snow more than once. I am pretty sure that I will get along with the open axle just fine.
I wish that I had figured this out Several Hundred Dollars sooner.

Thanks Bob. Methinks this rig may be ready for what I need it for already. Best wait and see how year one goes. Good commentary sir.

Drive it for a while and see if anything needs a little tuning.
I have no idea how much engine noise the 2019 makes. My 2024 is very quiet.
I do not have any serious gripe about the shocks. No doubt better ones exist, but stock has been ok so far.
If you get it in town much Turn Signals are very nice. I wired mine up using a Truck Lite Signal switch, and 2" Front Lights from a Farm Supply. Wiring them from scratch was not that bad a job.
On the 2.5 a Stage I Tune will help out the HP enough to make a difference. More power is a good thing with 3.73 gears.
The Cecco Rear Farm Bumper is a must have if you use it more than just driving around in it. A heavier duty front bumper with Hooks on the frame horns is also handy. I am pulling things all the time. Raising Tower Stands, pulling over trees, and clearing trees out of trails. I need solid attachment points front and back.
The older ones like yours could stand a little spring beefing up in my opinion. Probably an add a leaf on all four corners. Do some research. The newer ones are sprung stiffer, and set taller. I like Taller and a little Stiffer.
For the Gun Turret, I believe a nice AR15 chambered in 22 ARC should be a Coyotes worst night mare. With IR I am guessing you are hunting Hog's. For that an AR15 in 300 HAM'R should do the trick.
Enjoy and keep posting.

All armory budget has now been reappropriated to Roxor. We will have to run with 2007 era built 6.8's that even Bill Wilson used before adopting the 300H! Need to consider moving or revising the Kolpin gun stand between the shifters and dash as an 18" barrel with a can is a little tight. Guess I could use one of those evil collapsible stocks. Fortunately the pig charming 45 B&T with politeness front attachment fits just perfect and seems great for rapid deployment should we slip up on them.

Previous owner says noise of 2019 doesn't spook game. We shall see.DF tune stage 1 is on the radar. Gonna live with the shocks. If needed, forum gave me a referral on sub Bilstien priced shocks which are in my cart at money pit Summit Racing. Three letters. Can't recall brand. Town is 20 miles away so no street mods at this time.

May need a whole new front suspension kit though as I can't order a replacement spring pivot pin, grease fitting and bushing end for the right front leaf spring as mine are destroyed. Based on what I've read on here, Mahindra doesn't sell parts. Contacted my closest dealership which is in another state and she said they would call Mahindra to order parts. She was excited as no one has ever ordered parts for a Roxor before. Confidence level is not high. All of this may have created a 3500 pound paper weight lest I find these parts.

I am in the same boat. My Armory Budget has also been going to Roxor Parts. Windshield, Roof, Rear Bulkhead, Turn Signals, OEM Side Steps, Tires, Bumpers, Front Shackle Mount and Bow Shackles on all four Corners. (The Shackle Mounts come on the Cecco Rear Farm Bumper) Tow Hooks on the front Frame Horns, etc.

FYI The Fortress Tilt Out Windshield bolts to the Fortress Top. I got a super deal on the Fortress Top and Windshield used. If buying new, I would not install a tilt out windshield.

The Town where I work is 15 Miles away from me one way and it is 10 miles to another smaller town the other direction. However my County Roads work out just fine to get their from home. I drive mine to work when the weather cooperates.

Your machine with 3.73 gears can stand the Tune to add more HP for highway speeds. My 2024 with 5.38's works out just fine where I drive without a Tune. I never go over 50 MPH, and normally closer to 45 MPH maximum.

A forum member from Corpus helped me with the suspension bolts I needed. Ontherox was able to get me a bushing for the suspension along with some other items like shackle mounts, light mounts for just under the windshield and some EGR tuning plates.

Next I’ll tune the EGR and hope a check engine light doesn’t get conjured.

Also need to consider fender flares as the green paint is flaking off where previous owner had a whiskey dent. Rum actually most likely culprit. Anyone know if the ones Diesel Freak sells are different or better than the ones Ontherox sells? Really like both those shops. Need to patronize appropriately.
