Minnesota Utv Registration

Hey everyone! I just bought a Roxor two weeks ago to trail ride the Black Hills. It's back home in Southern MN and I'm looking to register it as a utv in Minnesota. I'm concerned that it exceeds the weight and tire restrictions in MN. Has anyone registered a Roxor in MN as a utv to trail ride?

I have not tried to register it myself, but I do not think that you can for the reasons you just stated. That being said, I have been driving around with SD plates for the last year, and I have not had any issues, and have not been pulled over. I only have taken it on Jeep/OHV trails, as I do not think you can ride on the ATV/UTV trails.

That was what I was concerned about. All of my friends have side by sides. Worked just fine in SD. Anyone else on here from MN?
