On the 2018 Roxor, the injector leak-off (fuel return) hoses don’t use the later-style horseshoe retaining clips. Instead, each fitting has an integrated push-lock connector molded into the plastic return rail.

From the service manual:

  • The leak-off pipe uses lock tabs — you must lift the tab with a small flat screwdriver before pulling the hose off the injector nipple.
  • When reinstalling, the connector simply pushes back down until the lock clicks into place.
  • For the rest of the return line (T-joint, FCU, unit pump), the manual specifies using a hose clip plier to remove the small spring retainers.
  • The procedure emphasizes pressing gently to avoid cutting or rolling the tiny O-ring seals inside the connector.
🔧 Practical tip:
On these early models, look closely for the small lock tab molded into the side of each connector. Use a flat screwdriver to lift the tab upward, then pull the hose straight off the injector. Avoid twisting or prying the fitting upward — the return rail plastic is brittle and will crack if stressed sideways.
