I hope you heal fast!
One of my Roxors has the Mahindra factory windshield. Just as the Rock Road, the frame is a piece of sheet metal (aluminum) without any 3-D structure. Its a poor design for higher speeds (for as much as they cost). But, considering the Roxor is meant for trails, the frame meets the intended use.
The 3-D structure gives it strength.
I mounted a 1.5" x 1" aluminum tube (1/8 wall) at the bottom of the frame. The tube runs the full width of the windshield and sits right against the bottom of the window seal. I sprayed the tube with black truck bed liner and it looks like it has always been there.
About 2" from each end and in the middle are 5/16 bolts that go through the aluminum tube and the windshield frame.
Now,, there is zero flex in the frame at 70 mph (well over 100 lbs windload). Before I installed the tube, the frame and polycarbonate window would flex at the bottom, center about 1/2" to 3/4" at 50 mph.
