Roxor comes standard with 235/70R/16 which are 29” in diameter. A 235/85R/16 are 31.7” in diameter. I found a tire dealer willing to give me $100 per tire trade to upgrade to the 85R. Looking to increase ground clearance.

So the question is: Without any modification to the suspension, will 31.7” tires work without clearance issues??

I don't have the 85's but do have the . 245 75 R16 Mud Star grippers and they don't rub. I also have the EAG bumper that has a inner curve- still no rubbing. I love these tires and they're so much better for me than the BFG's KO2s. I sold mine BFGs to the B-i-l for $80 ea with 200 miles on them.. yea.. he will be putting them on a hay wagon.. haha

Got the 85Rs put on and initial testing very positive. Nice lift on ground clearance! Looks a lot more aggressive. We’ll see how they do with flex. Very happy :)

I’ll verify speedometer with GPS and see if that was affected and report back

Without pics, it didn't happen. That's what I have been told. lol

I want a second set of rims for a set of 85R's. My dealer is getting Roxor's into the mines here and is going to end up with a crap load of tires and rims if all goes well. I could buy the steel rims now for $42 US (remember I'm in Canada) but I'm in no hurry and will take a set off his hands when he ends up with some, no hurry. He has the aluminum with the ko2's now, but I just want a steel set.

I have to keep my stock tires and rims for plowing snow. There is only one set of adjustment holes on the plow mount that 'might' work with 32" tires (might work with 31.7'). I don't want to take the chance of getting rid of my stock set up. Stock ones sit at 28.5 once on the vehicle. Once the plow goes on, clearance isn't and issue, I just push the problem out of the way.

This is a site I have been using to check numbers. Here is a screen shot of the difference between the 2 sizes.

It looks like just shy of 10% difference.

I put LT265/75R16 Maxxis Buckshot 2's on mine, Love them.
Buckshot Mudder II MT-764 | Maxxis Tires USA

No issues from stock so far.

Are you running any spacers or completely stock? No rubbing? I def am going to have to change the factory tires to something more aggressive and I like the size of these.

Thx
