So I put on the original post for the KYBs and I am just quite pleased with them. Anything over stock was an improvement. They fit just fine. Appreciate AZROXs investigating on the matter

Thanks CJ2Rox. Just to confirm, you installed KYB 343403 Front, 344015 Rear on a stock height Roxor?

I have the KYB 343403 and 344015 on my Roxor that is stock in the back and has the add-a-leaf in the front.
The add-a-leaf adds only 2" height at the bumper (that was the reference point I picked) and maybe about 1-1.5" at the axle compared to stock height.
These shocks will be just fine length wise. They compress to about the same length as the stock shocks, but extend farther. I think Mahindra did pretty well picking these shocks.

The KG5473 are about 1/4" shorter than the stock shocks when fully extended. Even with the little bit of lift the add-a-leaf gives, I did not feel comfortable using them.

@CJ2Rox: Thanks for the posting screen shots of your order.

For about $140 for all 4 shocks, you cannot go wrong with the 343403 and 344015.

OK a little confused. I am NOT putting a LIFT KIT on my machine, for I have two artificial knees and age is creeping up quickly! ha ha. I just want to up grade my squeaky factory red pieces of junk. Now, any other ideas for DIRECT BOLT ON SHOCKS THAT ARE AN UPGRADE FROM THE ORIGINALS? Thanks for any and all info. Keep on a rolling and a clattering.

@Semperfi: I suggest the KYB 343403 and 344015. They will work with a mild lift (maybe 1.5-2 inches) or no lift. They are reasonably priced.

343403 front, 344015 rear. They cost less than $40 each. They bokt right on. Other than a wrench and socket, not tools needed.

There are also a lot of folks on this forum who use Bilsteins. They do cost a lot more than the KYBs.

I took this advice as well as the part numbers. Ordered from rock auto, and got all 4 installed in about 15 minutes. Holy crap, the difference is night and day compared to the stock red shocks. I imagine shocks that are charged and valved specifically for the roxor would be better, but for an off the shelf, cost effective option, the kybs are beyond my expectations. My application is stock ride height and tire size/load rating.

Thanks for the feedback. Hoping, Mahindra folks read this forum.

When Mahindra sold the last 2020s with the KYB 343403 front, 344015 rear shocks, I think they got it right - on a budget.

Yes, the 2020 with factory lift had the KYB 343403 upfront and 344015 at the rear from the factory.

I bought a set from a local member who upgraded to other after market shocks. I figured I give them a try, measured extended and compressed lengths vs stock, and have not loocked back since.

A few weeks after I installed the shocks and wrote the comparison, I found the part numbers online.

KYB 343403 and 344015 on a stock automatic 2019. The original shocks had no rebound in either the front or rear. Side note not recommended but by installing them one by one I was able to remove them and replace them without having to lift the vehicle up at all. I left these over night to see if there was any rebound. There was not. I manually extended them for comparison. $137.39 from rockauto but through October 2021 I believe there is a 25 dollar rebate from KYB available. You'll have to take pictures of the UPCs from the boxes and screengrab or take a picture of the invoice.

I have the KYBs but I am thinking of switching to Bilsteins. Anyone directly compare them?

I have a 2018 Roxor. Suspension is stock - no lift kit. Today I replaced the Mahindra shocks with KYB 343403 and 344015. I got the part numbers from this list. We drive on local gravel roads - lots of pot holes. It doesn't ride like an Escalade, but it is a big improvement over the stock shocks. I live in Canada and had trouble finding the KYB part numbers locally. They were $50 on Amazon.ca, but didn't have stock. A nearby NAPA store priced them at about ~$101 Cdn, each. Ended up buying them from RockAuto. Arrived on the West coast, landed in Canada for ~$175 Cdn including shipping and border handling. Thank you for the KYB part numbers and the RockAuto lead. Happy customer here.

I recently had a set that I bought from RockAuto installed. I have yet to take my machine for a drive after the install but I'm pretty excited to do so.
