I'm 6'0". Driving, the guage seems to be at the worst angle. Before I crawl under the dash and potentially break something, and anyone managed to angle you guage up so it's more viewing friendly? I'm having to bend down a bit to check the speed due to the speedo needle not being accurate when you're looking at it from above.

Lol, I feel you pain my friend. The only suggestion I could make is to put an angle or wedge in between the gauge and the dash to give it a little pitch.

I'll try and come up with something this weekend. A simple aluminum pipe cut at a 20° angle would probably be a good fix for it.

scanguage velcroed above the steering wheel. You’ll get the speedo and you can adjust this one to true gos speed if you swapped tires/gears. Also get voltage and water temperature. I leave speedo, voltage, water temp and tach on my display.

Definitely, It shows pretty much everything. I have one mounted under my main gauge. Txroadkill probably has a better mount location for visibility. They sell for about $150-200. Simple to install strait to the obd port

I’m doing a digital dash as well. I couldn’t find anything waterproof so I decided to get a iPad mini, a waterproof case, and a WiFi obd2 unit. It’ll be mounted right above the steering column. You can change the dash to display whatever you want and also log the information.

The used iPad on eBay was $70, case was $20, mount $50 and WiFi adapter was $18.

I’ll post more about this set up on my build thread when I get it up and running. Should be plug and play.

You could use an Iphone plus with one of those Roxform magnetic cases. Mount above the present speedometer and you are in business. Drive and put it in your pocket.

I missed something along the way though. How to you get the signal to the Ipad.
