Has anyone tried rebending Rops to a custom mount. I added a CJ windshield and built brackets, plan on using inserts from old Rox windshield frame. That way still have the existing rops just modified to mount to CJ folding windshield. The way I see it, I think need to go more straight and down

I bent my rear "kickers" a little tighter so I could weld them to my lowered center hoop using a hydraulic pipe bender from Harbor Freight. The pipe sized shoes werent an exact match for the DOM tubing that the ROPS is made from but it worked fine for that.

I just want the front to stay bent just move straight. I already fabed the mounts. Did it chip the finish on the rope? Didnt think of Harbor freight

It did scuff the powdercoat up some. I touched it up with some Rustoleum Rugged Black rattle can paint. Actually blended really good. I had to repaint where I welded too, so I wasnt too concerned about the finish at the bends.
